Biography

Bio Sketch

Dr. Qinran Hu received a B.S degree in electrical engineering from Chien-Shiung Wu College, Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 2010, an M.S. degree, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2013 and 2015, respectively. From 2015-2018, he worked as a postdoc at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA. In Oct. 2018, Qinran Hu joined the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China.

Research Interests

  • Aggregated management of DERs
  • Power system production simulation
  • Economic analysis of power systems
  • Online monitoring of power equipment
